UK Casino Groups & Networks
39 companies run two or more UK brands on a single Gambling Commission licence account. Above them sit the casino groups — Entain, Flutter, Kindred — that own the licensees. This page maps both layers, and neither comes from a press release.
What a casino network actually is
Ask who owns a casino site and there are two correct answers, at two different levels. Only one of them changes what happens to your account.
The licensee is the company named on the Gambling Commission licence — LC International Limited, Skill On Net Limited, Jumpman Gaming Limited. It is the entity the regulator deals with, the name that appears on your bank statement after a deposit, and the one whose licence conditions govern your account. Every one of the 483 brands indexed on this site is traced to one, across 129 accounts held by 110 licensees.
The group is the company above it. It owns the licensee, sets strategy and takes the profit, but it is not what your account hangs off. Flutter's UK brands on this site sit on five separate licensees: PPB Counterparty Services Limited for Betfair and Paddy Power; Stars Interactive Limited for PokerStars; SBG Sports Limited for Sky Bet; Bonne Terre Gaming Limited for Sky Bingo, Sky Casino, Sky Poker and Sky Vegas; Tombola (International) Plc for Tombola and tombola arcade — five sets of licence conditions, one owner.
The distinction is the whole point of this page. Two brands on the same licence account are sister sites in the strict sense: one company, one rulebook, usually one verification check and one self-exclusion. Two brands in the same group on different accounts are related companies — worth knowing, but a looser link, and a restriction on one need not follow you to the other.

Casino groups and the UK brands they own
Where our data identifies the owner of a licensee, it is shown here — 12 groups covering 298 brands, ordered by how much their brands are searched for. The licence is still what binds the brands together; the group tells you who owns it.

Who owns what
The questions people actually type, answered from the licence record rather than from an about page.
- Who owns Sky Bet?
- Sky Bet is licensed by SBG Sports Limited, account 67370. The licensee is part of the Flutter Entertainment group.
- Who owns Foxy Bingo?
- Foxy Bingo is licensed by LC International Limited, account 54743. The licensee is part of the Entain group. Same account: bwin, Coral, Foxy, Foxy Games, Gala, Gala Spins.
- Who owns Gala Bingo?
- Gala Bingo is licensed by LC International Limited, account 54743. The licensee is part of the Entain group. Same account: bwin, Coral, Foxy, Foxy Bingo, Foxy Games, Gala.
- Who owns BetVictor?
- BetVictor is licensed by BV Gaming Limited, account 39576. Same account: Betano, Heart Bingo, Parimatch, Smooth Spins, talkSPORT BET.
- Who owns Ladbrokes?
- Ladbrokes is licensed by LC International Limited, account 1611, 54743. The licensee is part of the Entain group. Same account: bwin, Coral, Foxy, Foxy Bingo, Foxy Games, Gala.
- What is the Ladbrokes Coral group?
- Ladbrokes and Coral trade on the same licence accounts: 1611, held by Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming Limited; 54743, held by LC International Limited. LC International's account also carries bwin, Foxy, Foxy Bingo, Foxy Games, Gala. The pair people still name together share their licensees outright, and our data places both in the Entain group.
- Who owns Grosvenor Casinos?
- The register lists Grosvenor Casinos as an active trading name on account 614, held by Grosvenor Casinos Limited. It is a separate licence from Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, which carries Mecca Bingo and twelve more.
- Who owns Midnite?
- The register does not settle this one. Midnite is an active trading name on two different accounts — 42647 (Dribble Media Limited) and 101839 (Midnite Limited) — so the name alone cannot tell you which company holds your account. The footer of the site you are on can: it names the licensee.
White label: why one licence carries 149 websites
Not every brand on an account is run by the company named on it. The Commission's domain register marks some domains white label: the licence belongs to one firm, the website is operated by another underneath it, and the customer is rarely told which is which.
The scale is easy to underestimate. Of the 1,440 live domains on the register, 376 are white label, spread across 33 accounts. Jumpman Gaming Limited alone carries 149 live domains, 131 of them white label. ProgressPlay Limited carries 124, of which 104.
What that means in practice: two white-label brands can have different owners, different staff and different support, and still sit on one licence — so one set of licence conditions, one complaints route, and one self-exclusion covering both.
How to check who owns a site yourself
Nothing on this page needs to be taken on trust. The method takes about a minute:
- Read the footer. A UK-licensed site names the licensee and its licence account number there, with a link to the register. If a site aimed at British players carries neither, that is the finding.
- Search the licensee on the Gambling Commission register. Use the company name, not the brand.
- Read the trading names on the account. That list is the brand's sister sites, direct from the regulator — it is the same list this site is built from.
- Check the domain status. The register marks domains active, inactive or white label. A white label tells you the site is run by someone other than the licence holder.
One caveat worth carrying: a trading name can appear on more than one account, and when it does the register cannot tell you which company runs the site in front of you. The footer can. 7 such names were found while building this index, and they were left out of the brand pages rather than guessed at — Midnite above is one of them.
Questions
What is a casino group?
The company that owns one or more licensees. The licence is what makes brands sister sites; the group sits one level above it. Our data places twelve casino groups above the licences indexed here — Jumpman Gaming, ProgressPlay, Broadway Gaming, Skill On Net and Entain among them — and the section above lists the UK brands each one owns.
Which casinos are owned by Ladbrokes?
Strictly, none — Ladbrokes is a brand, not an owner. It trades on licences held by LC International Limited and Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming Limited, part of the Entain group, and the other UK brands on those licences are Coral, Foxy, Foxy Bingo, Foxy Games, Gala, Gala Bingo, Gala Spins, Gamebookers, Party Casino, PartyPoker, Sportingbet and bwin. Those are the sites people usually mean by Ladbrokes casinos.
What is a casino network?
Two or more gambling brands run by the same company on one Gambling Commission licence account. The customer sees separate websites; the regulator sees one licensee, one set of licence conditions and one compliance record.
Are casino sites owned by the same company?
Many are. Across the 129 licence accounts indexed here, 39 carry two or more brands, and the largest carries eighty-nine. Independent single-brand licensees are the exception rather than the rule.
What is the difference between an operator group and a licensee?
The licensee is the company named on the Gambling Commission licence and is the entity you actually contract with. The group is the listed company that owns it. Entain does not hold a UK licence under that name — LC International Limited does, and Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala and Foxy all sit on it.
How do I find out who owns a casino site?
The footer of a UK-licensed site names the licensee and its licence account number. Search that company on the Gambling Commission register and read the trading names listed against the account — that list is the brand's sister sites.
Do sister sites share the same account and verification?
Brands on one licence account normally share KYC, the same terms framework and the same self-exclusion. A closure or exclusion applied by the licensee usually reaches every brand on that account, which is the practical reason the licence matters more than the logo.
Does a group-wide ban cover brands on different licences?
Not automatically. Brands in one group but on separate licence accounts are separate licensees, and a restriction on one does not have to follow you to another. GAMSTOP does — it covers every UK-licensed operator regardless of group or licence.
